MailSend is Free

Originally published on: Sun, 20 Nov 2011.

MailSend, my first successful independently produced software is now free. It is free in every sense of the word; the original AWK ( yes, AWK ) source is now open under the MIT/X11 license. The Windows binary is free to use.

You may download the source, binary, and latest documentation here:

As I've written a new commercial command-line mailer ( MailWrench, see http://www.mailsend-online.com/mailwrench/ ), I've decided to make MailSend available to everyone who wants to use it.

The story of MailSend was first told in my blog post My Big Shareware Splash.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who supported MailSend over the years. It has been a wonderful experience speaking with you, exchanging emails with you, and jointly swatting bugs!
