Twimmando No More

Originally published on: Sun, 25 Apr 2010 04:10:33 +0000

I'm afraid my command-line Twitter utility Twimmando ( see here ) will cease to function on June 30th, 2010.

Twitter is deprecating their simple Basic Authentication mechanism in favor of the more preferred OAuth API.

Right now, I don't have plans for incorporating the new OAuth API into the program. Twimmando is open-source, so you're all welcome to try to implement OAuth yourselves.
